85 tpi ECM
85 tpi ECM
what's the deal on those? any harder to program? I'm thinking of changing it to a later model (87?) so I can get a 350 chip from GM ( for my 355)to replace my 305 one. Also, is the fact of changing the ecm would make the car perform better?
Thanks

Mike Davis did the ECU swap for 85 to 86,and then from 86 to 90. Go to his web page and check it out. www.eecis.udel.edu/~davis/z28/

If you going to go to the work of updateing ecms go to the 90-92s, and MAP system. Far easier to work with and on failed MAF sensor will pay for the whole deal.
