Canister Purge Questions
Canister Purge Questions
Hi,
Beleive it or not I still can't fix this miniram backfire problem. I am focusing on mechanical rather than prom right now since 20+ chips have not touched the problem. I noticed that my falling O2 volts seem to directly correlate with my canister purge. Open loop everything is great. No hesitation and no backfire. The second it hits closed loop, its like there is no accel pump even though there is. You can watch the O2 volts plummet to 0 with every push of the throttle. I also noticed that the big vacuum line that plugs into the throttle bodythat goes to the canister selonoid (the lower big one) has full vacuum at idle and I don't remember this before the miniram. Can someone verify this on their car? I have a Diacom GDF file if anyone is interested.
