Help me light this candle

I know I'll have to tune later, but I am looking for input on how to get the car running well enough to get it home.

It's a 87 Vette L98 355, MAF, Edelbrock TPI, Stage 3 ported heads, 24# SVOs, 218/228 114 cam.

I was going to change the injector constant and TC lockups (don't want to lug the new engine) on the 32B code. Anything else needed at first?

Any reason to switch to 6E right away? If so, what needs to be done - disable VATS, unplug Cold Start?

Are there any good 32B .ecu files out there? I've found a lot for the 6E, but none for the 32B.

Thanks.

Assuming you can't do it "perfect" the first time, I would error on the side of being slightly rich than lean. If you have access to a scan tool, set your BLM min & max to 128 and note the INT readings, try and get them less than 128 to indicate that you are on the slightly rich side.

Easiest to just do it once.
Use the 6E.
Be advised thou the vette code can differ from the f body. A/C stuff gets screwy

But will merely changing the injector constant safely get me from the barn my car is in to my garage? This engine has never been started and I don't want to ruin it before I can prooperly tune it.

It's not gonna kill your engine cowboy. Your ECM would have to be seriously messed up to do any actual damage to the engine. The worst that can happen is you wont have as much power as if the PROM was calibrated properly.
