Need help with 383 prom....

Can someone help me with the programming of an 89 Formula 350 which was switched to a 383? It's a friends car and he got a program and the burner, but does not know what he needs to change. Maybe someone has already burned a chip with close to the same mods?

We need to get the car running half-way decent in order to get it on a dyno for true tuning.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Don't know if you need to know, but he bought the GMEPRO V1.60S software.

Rottie,

What you will find is that this forum mostly centers around those individuals who are tuning their own cars. Think of this forum as a safety net for when you need some help with your tuning. So, with that said, just post some very specific questions and I'm sure that you'll get some answers. What do you need to know?

Also - you said that you want to get the car running halfway decent so that you can do some dyno tuning. This is very confusing because if you can't get the car running halfway decent on your own (through your knowledge of burning/tuning PROMs) then I can't even conceive of how you will be able to do fine tuning on the dyno.
