He has a 87 IROC just headers, gears and nos right now. So im gona messwith that.

TPI383,

Ask specific questions and then I am sure that you will get answers. However, I would recommend that you research as much as you can first. Your request is too general. Requesting a mildly modified bin or a perfect bin for your buddy's setup probably won't happen. If you are going to be doing the chipping then you'll have to learn. Learning is done through research and specific questions.

I copied and pasted this from another post I made ....
You can learn how to make small changes in a week or two. But, to really know what you are doing is a consistent ongoing process. Experimentation is the key. Make changes, burn a new chip, test it and record info via Diacom or some other scan tool. Then, review the data and review your changes to the bin. Lather and repeat as necessary
NOTHING is better than research. Spend the time reading every single website in my article. Then, when you are done ... read them again. Then read them again. Then go to GMECM's website and download the archives. Read as much as you can handle. There's enough reading there to keep you busy for months on end. Research is where it is at. Experimentation follows on its heels. Depending on others without giving it your best effort sux the big one.

I've been doing this for awhile and there is no way that I would even come close to calling myself an expert.

Program your own PROMs. Read my article on how to do it!

Thanks for the info... I have been reading up on this forum and gmecm's, diy, etc..

i relize that experimenting is the best way also. Thats how I learend to build motors too. Got good at that look at mine.

I was hoping to get a bone stock bin and then one for like headers, adfpr, gears, etc. LIGHT MODS, just to compair with each other. This would help me much better than starting cold turkey.
