A question about ADS and other chips.

Are those chips even worth buying? I've heard that they do virtually no good and cost and arm and a leg. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated because I am considering an ADS SuperChip but I want to make sure that my car will not be injured because of it. "*sniff* It's my baby! *sniff*"

Y'see! That's kinda what I thought, they are overrated and rediculouly over-priced (at least $145 for a TPI one.)

There is another post on this subject a few lines down on this board. Read it for more information about what it does and does not do.

I also have the ADS superchip. Paid 100 bucks for it from Summit about 7 years ago. I thought it made a difference then, but it was also my first basic mod.
I have compared the programming of their chip to my stock GM chip. They did make some changes, but very small ones. If I only knew then what I know now. Time to do some real chip programming!!!
