Tuner Cat question-- "LV8"

What does "LV8" stand for? Is it just Load? If so what is the unit of measure?

Thanks,

Cory

The LV stands for Load Variable but I'm not sure what the 8 means. From what I know, Diacom gives its units in grams/cylinder, meaning the amount of air taken in by each cylinder, and this is a calculated value using airflow and RPM and probably other data. It's similar to the MAP reading on speed density ('90-92) cars but not identical...
