Disable spark adder of 8deg in ALDL mode?

Should this be disabled or left alone.

One guy I know has a 305 HSR and it stalls after a while and runs kind of rough with the ALDL cable hooked up. So I was thinking it might be the spark adder. Since the HSR has a revamped spark advance table already maybe the extra 8 deg is a bit much?

I disabled it in mine, mainly because the way I have my hardware installed, I permanently have 10k across A and B.

Thanks Mangus.

I would imagine Craig's USBto ALDL adaptor has the 10k in built in the circuit so you don't have to manually apply the 10k resistor do you know for sure?

The ALDU1 has a switch for the 10k, open, and short, so application is optional.
