help

Okay guys.. I've been looking around for some good info on TPI tuning and havnt had much luck.. I have read the FAQ and understand most of the info.. But I have some questions..

I have a 383 with Dart 180 72cc heads, with a Comp Cam 280H camshaft. I'm running 26 lb injectors and a 58mm throttle body with the stock plentum port matched to the throttle body.. Stock MAF sensor with the screens pulled. Headers with 2.5" exhaust..

The car (62 Chevy Nova) runs good but it could run better.. I have the CATS tunner program and access to a chip bunner.. I have a few .bin files that I am looking at and see some diffrences in the tables..

What I am trying to do is bring the timing up off idle a bit, and I would think since I am running more CI I would need to add fuel also.. I also want to set the idle speed at 850 at idle and disable the EGR, turn the fans on at 180 degrees, etc..

any help or where to find info?

You didn't tell us which ECM and mask you're running, so this will be generic:

Spark = Spark Table

Fuel = MAF table or VE Table (depending on mask). You generally remove fuel for larger injectors, but that depends on what the engine is demanding. My recommendation is that you set the injector constant to match your injectors, then change the tables to get your BLMs in line.

Idle = Idle speed vs. Coolant temp table

Have fun.
