I have determined that my car stays in the open loop most of the time.

I have a stock chip.

I am using a 180 degree HIGH FLOW thermostat.
(It always stays open).

I am also running cheap Flowtech headers with a NIECHOFF Oxygen Sensor.

Why does the car stays in the open loop most of time. Is it because:

1. The oxygen sensor does not warm up properly?
2. Or because the coolant never reacher mid/high temp?

I do not have access to scanner.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

How'd you determine that?.
If your operatin temp is near 180, that more then enough for C/L enable.
Highest stock CT enable for C/L, that I know of, is 156dF.
