Prominator and PCMCIA card?

Prominator and PCMCIA card?
I did a search with no such luck...
There are PCMCIA cards that give me a parallel connection through that port on my laptop, is there any reason that would not work with my Prominator?
PCMCIA cards for this run about 80 + or - a little... unless anyone knows of where I can get one cheaper?

Nope, no serial port, i got a dynex USB to serial adapter from best buy, works great.
Im thinking the PCMCIA card will work just like a parallel port on the computer, anyone know otherwise?
