exhaust tone changes, deeper. when raising VE.

this is attributed to what most likely? the increase in fuel demanding more air? what?
minor increase too. .4+ across the board from 1600rpm down. from stock.

this is a stock l03 by the way. im just messing with stuff to get my feet wet for when i need to really have to tune my 69s engine. which i have no basis for. since its a 307 made 30 years ago . hell i dont even know if its a stock 307. also it has a powerglide so that will be a whole different story for tuning i bet. we will see.
but for now.

maybe you can explain why this note change occurs.

The combustion chamber gasses are just burning differently, ie later into the ex manifolds, as with a nice cam change exhaust note difference. I wouldn't read into it too much...

Due to the difference in the exhaust gas velocity.
The crackle in a fuelers exhaust is from each pulse still being mach+, and the exhaust pulses hit the atmospheric air.
