Wow, you are upset that no one has responed in 6 minutes?

Actually, this type of question is not really Prom BURNING related and it will most likely get locked. But I will leave it open so others may give some response, but it will probably be locked by the end of the day.

FYI, we generally lock posts when someone asks about "purchasing eproms or difference between various eproms". Those are more "Aftermarket Board" questions and better served over there. This particular question really has nothing to do with Prom BURNING per se.

Regardless, if I am correct about your car, you have a Computer Carb and though my knowledge is limited about them, the CCC eprom is primarily concerned about timing. The fuel is primarily controlled by mechanical methods within the carb itself.

The problem with the CCC type eprom is it is one of the "oldest granddaddies" of eprom generations and there really isn't too much available for them. That is why so many guys just convert the whole thing to a mechanical distributor.

You COULD consider converting to TBI. TBI controls a lot more than a CCC and the TBI is fairly well hacked. Properly done, I see no reason why a person cannot make a TBI perform as well as a carb and have the better driveability and gas mileage that TBI offers. Best of all, it is fairly inexpensive (when compared to MPFI).

I know that if I was to get an older carbed engine, I would seriously consider converting it to TBI because of the other factors (driveability and gas mileage). Any loss in performance (which I still believe that TBI can be made to perform equally well), I would compensate with some other modification...such as cam, heads, intake manifold, exhaust etc.

Get the instruction manual for the ZZ3 engine retrofit. It has all the parts numbers, ecms, etc that you need for a CCC. Then get Doug Roe's Q-Jet Book.
Tune as necessary <g>
