i have an 89 firebird with a very modified 350 and tbi. damn thing is ive still got the 305 computer in it and i know its not running nearly up to par. will the computer out of a 350tbi truck work as a make shift computer with better tables until i can get a real prom done. also what if any other computers could i scavenge from a bone yard that would be an improvement.

If your signature has your current mods in it NO ! You will need a custom prom for sure.
A 7747 from a trk will work temporarily (no MAT) on a stock engine.
