help tunning a SD TPI

ok I`ve been burning chips in my 91 305 for about two weeks and i still cant get it to run any better, the car feels like it has no power, put it this way the beat stock motor had more power, the car runs good at idle and will rev out fine in idle but once you put in gear it about falls on its face. i`ve changed every thing i can in the main constant table using tunercat, and i`ve increased and decreased values in PE.spark advancedVSrpm, volumetric ef VS spark VSmap, pe ratios and open loop fuel air, but now i seem to be in a stand still,My scan tool tell me that im running fine, im not lean or rich timing is good iac counts are fine. if any one has a 305 SD with head work, cam, exahust could you help out a fellow f-body owner, Im not trying to be cheap i have tuner cat with 4 def files and the pocket progamer. its that i dont know whats what. Thanks - TOT

If the scanner is reporting that the BLM readings are good and that you don't have any problems as far as the ECM/PROM, maybe the problem is mechanical. Is this a new engine? Has it always run this way? Was the cam degreed?
Did you look at the timing or any knock readings? Maybe timing is being taken out due to some problem and not being put back in. Maybe the scanner is in a mode that locks the timing down, dianostic mode or something it's called?

My BLM is around 108, the motor is a fresh rebuild 460/470 cam yes it was degreed I have a bran neew setof heads opened up to 194/150 the car runs great other than no power its like it need something changed in the chip but i dont know what it is, i`ve been doing the try it and see method, I have well over 100 diferent 305 bin that i`ve changed and reworked but none of them make her run much better, If any one has a chip with similar mods that i could look at and compair that would help, what charts in tuner cat control the affects at WOT any help would be great - TOT

BLM at 108 show a very rich condition. 126-128 is where you want to be. Same for the INT. Take out some fuel in the cells that are running rich.

You need to go the the 730 article that was posted by Traxion. You first need to get the VE tables right. It is critical for diveability to get this right first. Then you need to add PE until it makes the most power. At the present time you have too much fuel and by adding PE fuel you are making matters worse. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, start off with your original stock bin! Don't look for shortcuts in other peoples' bins. Listen to what Grumpy has said many times before, the engine is going to tell you what it wants.
