Can anyone verify that the attached diagram (from Kavlico's website) will work for the Autometer 2246?

Most likely it is the correct pin out. I get this from finding a bunch of info on the Innovative Motorsports website. Several forum threads claim that it is a Kavlico sensor and they use a GM triangular TPS connector for hookup.
For +5 volts there is the Vref going to the TPS & MAP. At 4 ma the sensor doesn't draw much. Can also tap into the ECM +5V logic supply. Only issue here is noise. It is used for digital logic, so not a good choice.
Another option would be to use a decent 5 volt reference. Don't use the simple 7805, way to much drift and no accuracy. The sensor is a ratiometric device. So a solid, steady +5.0 volts should be used.

I will check the Innovative web site and have been planning to use the ref voltage from the MAP and TPS, since it is convenient and designed for this purpose. Thanx ;-)
