I think I know what a Custom Burned PROM is but I'm not positive. I have 24# injectors and a Super Ram on the way, and I think that a PROM will squeeze all the HP out of my mods by telling the computer I have more fuel and air. If this is what they do let me know. Thanks for your time.

 

yeah in a sense you could say that is what it is but it goes much much deeper than that,and gets a hole lot more specific.

Do yourself a favor and do a lot of research on this board. There will be a lot of questions answered for you if you take the time to learn. To answer your question, the prom is the software and the ecm, injectors, etc., are the hardware. If you want them to do something different that what was intented you have to tell them to do so. That is what a custom prom is.
