Miniram Tuning

I just got the engine completed and in car. I am using 165 ecm, 19lbs injectors(fp set to 50 psi), and Mr gasket chip from 305. I used to start car for 1st time. Ran nicely at idle, but when taken out died @ about 40mph in 4th gear. I know that this is not for this motor. Ive been burning (tunercat)a few chips, starting out with 89 vette bin/6speed. Of course making small changes each time I burned. So far no real luck. I have 30lbs injectors, so I think I should put them in, and reburn some chips. Is this a good bin to start with? I figured that the cam I am using isnt really radical, and heads have basic porting with 1.5 rockers, and z springs. Compression is around 10:1, and I am using 58mm tb.
I have read the many posts on this, each having something to do with 89vette and his problems. If this is a good bin to start with, what other tables should I be concerned with. Im not looking for the best 1/4 chip, but something I can run on the road and baby since its a fresh motor. My laptop took a dump so I just won an auction on ebay so that I can get Moates software back. I know there has been plenty of people using the miniram, so Im hoping that someone can find some time to point me in the right direction. And yes I will be switching to 730 ecm soon, just want to get it going now. Thanks,
Joe

Hi!

I am running a close set-up in my 89 vette still with the 165.. I have:
357ci, Miniram, 52mm TB, 2-1/2" dual exhaust, Longtube 1-3/4" headers, ZZ9 cam, CNC Ported L98 heads, and approx 10.5:1 compression.

I have not really had any stumble problems or drivability troubles with my current set-up. I was also using 24# SVO injectors with the constant set to 26# and approx 46psi at WOT. I have since changed to 30# SVO.. set the PROM to 32# but have not gotten a chance to tune yet, due to weather mostly.

I was very happy with my set-up for cruising (BLMs were at 128-130). I have not gotten a chance to do any WOT tuning.

As for power.. before I started tuning with a waaay rich PROM and just bolting it and drag racing it.. I got a 12.82@110 with 301RWHP and 340RWTQ. I know I can squeeze a little bit more out.. but I am swapping to the 7727 this winter.. along with the interior..
