Piggyback eproms...

I am going to use a piggyback design with my exhisting memcal see sig... Anyway, will this work and if so do I need to pull the exhisting eprom out of the memcal or can I leave it in and bypass it. I have one piggyback unit in the mail on the way, and the other is a hypertech chip that I removed the eprom from as per Traxions article... Soooo Do I need to do ANYTHING else.. besides burn and go.

I would recommend replacing the eprom with an AT29C256 Flash Prom so you can easily erase and re-burn electrically. That is what I did with my useless ADS "piggy back". It was the only use I had for it.
