It is ALIVE!
It runs! Now the tuning (fun) begins...
I built a high compression race motor out of an 82 pontiac 4.1L V6, didn't like the carb so I grafted on a 3.8L SFI intake manifold, 727 out of a Lumina, 24 lb injectors, and wired the whole thing from scratch. I'm running super-AUJP that I modified with much help from you guys
I only had two issues, the first was easy. I had a small fuel leak in the return line. The second one had me thinking for a bit... I hate to admit it but I had inadvertantly hooked the MAP sensor up to a "timed" vaccum line (it would only run at 1500 rpm). Once that was fixed it runs pretty decent.
I still need to spend hours and hours tuning on it but I'm passed a major stage. I couldn't have done it without the help from experts found in this forum! Many thanks
BTW, this forum was recommended to me by three or four people before I started this project. I was hesitant because my project was not a Camaro... However, you all helped anyway. Your expertise and assistance is recognized in MANY more circles than you know.

Now that I have a little more comfort (confidence) with EFI. Hopefully I will be able to help someone else with this stuff.

Once you learn EFI you will never go back to carbs. Great to hear that you have it running. A job well done. I read a few of your posts and you seemed to being doing a good deal of research. I am sure you will have it running the way you like in no time.
BTW, I love custom stuff. Good job.
