Rich/lean thresh

I set my 7747 TBI bin file lean 02 thres vs. airflow from 438 to 538 mv and the rich 02 thres 468 to 568 mv. i do know the 88 corvettes bins have a lean cruise and stuff, im not really worried about that. I havent driven my car enuff yet to get it into closed loop. This seems like it would help performance, hence the vettes were like that. Im also guessing that 550 is aroun 14:1 AFR. Also is a lean cruize mod i hear about somewhere i can download? Has anyone messed with rich-lean thes?

These are what I run on my engines. Number one is what I am running on my MAF TBI 350. The second attachement is what I am running with my 3.1 TBI in my 87 GMC (RBob's EBL)

Wow thats really cool, from the looks of that, it should get good milage and/or your running a camshft. i think that its neat you MAFed a TBI car. You must be running a holley proflow or something of that nature. I just got back from cruizing and i like the way i got mine running, feels kinda fat though at light throttle. This is a parameter ive never messed with (about a year). Stock TBi's IMO need alot of help.

They both get good mileage and have good HP/TQ output.

The 350 has Swirl Port heads, Peanut roller cam, and 8.5:1 compression. It is a HD truck engine and gets treated like one. Don't let the target O2 values trick you, that is just for part throttle. PE comes in fast and hard at higher throttle openings and MAPs. It is also plenty rich and the timing plenty safe for good hard pulls, pulling a load.

The 3.1 TBI has a cam that is equivalent to a Ford Racing E-303, Ported Heads, and headers. Based on its performance it is making about 180 HP @ 5,000 and 210 ft/lbs @ 3,500 or so. I do know that it made enough power to fry the original 700r4 in this S-truck.

The 350 is MAF TBI.

The 3.1 has RBob's EBL.
