Will the Vortec BBC intake off a 1997 Chevy, match up with the heads on a 92 BBC?.

Obviously for a EBL'd, 3rd Gen. <G>

 

Well, the Vortec heads have the same intake ports as the old oval ports, so no. The 92 will have the peanut ports. The Vortec intake won't have the EGR passage that goes into the heads either.

Bolt patterns are the same.

I'm using Vortec heads on a Mark IV block with Edel MPFI TBI conversion intake. Mine had the peanut port heads originally; same as you have.

You should swap to the Vortec heads along with the intake.
