Timing/plugs
I just got a custom chip burned then discoved ive used the wrong plugs, using short reach instead of long reach in alloy heads....DUH... anyway the guy who tuned it said it took 32deg of timing and he was a little supprised. i have 11:1 compresion on 98 octane. so im wondeing if i put the right plugs back in will i end up with detanation or does 32deg sound ok. I have a 218-224 @50 cam alloy heads modded TPI in a 88 GTA.

DIY Prom is for Do-It-Yourselfers...as you (and us) have no idea what the custom tuner did inside, we really cannot answer nor make suggestions as you cannot implement them.
Best you discuss this with the person who burnt your eprom.
