Car kinda doggish once warmed up - what should I look at?
If my engine is cold, or at least been sitting for an hour or two, it just feels lightning quick compared to how it feels when it warms up. I need to give it more TPS to get going, and it wont shred the tire on the 1-2 upshift like it does before it fully warms up. Could this just be my last-leg 700r4 slipping when warm causing me to think my engine is losing power when warm? Fluid doesn't smell burnt.
The TPS required just to get up to 30 mph when warm is enough to cause tire spin when cold./
The obvious thing to me is coolant temp vs spark advance, but I'm not sure what else may help me.

If you are runing a stock style air cleaner with pre-heat, it may be that the flapper isn't opening. This will cause excessively hot air to enter the engine.

I still haven't solved this. I'm starting to think it's my AE. These motors like a lot less AE once warmed up, right? It just doesn't respond well to throttle when its warm (compared to when it's cold).

Is it generally down on power, or does it bog down, and recover with throttle?

It's hard to tell. It seems to be down overall on power, and also not take off as well. It's mainly obvious if I floor it from a 25-30mph cruise. If it's cold the car will respond immediately and start pulling well. If its warm it seems to take forever to downshift, then once it starts pulling it doesn't feel as strong.
