Toyalled my 87 a couple of months ago, found a 94 firebird v6 car for $1500
and a friend of a friend to paint it for 1200..
Just swapped the 7730/ 405/t56 combo in a couple of days ago with painless harness.. Just got her fired up today, only had a few moments to mess sround with - was waiting on some feul conversion fittings, saw them in mail and wanted to see if she would fire.. Idles ok, but really really rich - hoping its cause the mat sensor is not hooked up - though I have it disabled??
Bogging when I hit gas to.. I Guess the 7730 mat sensors were different, my other was repinned harness in the 87..
Also did not hook up knock sensor, but thats been disbaled for years becuse the car is used at the strip alot and consistancy is needed.. But I always had one plugged in..

I'm so sorry to hear you totalled your 87. That was such an awesome car. I hope it was covered by insurance.
