Quick general question.
I was messing around with the tune trying to get the car to idle in open loop only. (Idle in PE)
The table is;
ENIRCH POWER ENABLE % TPS
RPM----TPS
4800---70.63
3200---60.16
2000---50.00
1200---50.00
400----50.00
Now on to the question,
I changed the 400 value to 0% thinking the 400rpm value would effect the 400-1100rpm range.The car didn't idle in pe(open loop).
I think I may be misunderstanding how the RPM and other values work.
For example i've been doing all of my tuning thinking this;
Changing the 1200rpm value to zero scales up and effects 1200-1900rpm or does it actually scale down from the value and effect the 1200-500rpm range ?
If this is the case, is it the same for MAP, etc aswell? 100kpa value controls 91-100kpa and the 90kpa value controls 90-81kpa?

Re: Quick general question.
If you were to only change the 1200 RPM row, it will affect both the upward to 2000 RPM and downward to the 400 RPM row.
Another way to put it, when you changed the 400 RPM row to 0, and left the 1200 RPM row @ 50%. At the halfway mark of 800 RPM the TPS% for PE will be 25% TPS ( (1200 - 400) / 2 + 400 = 800 ).
The ECM interpolates between values.
RBob.

Ok I understand now,
When you click graph in tunerpro it shows you exactly what you get between certain points.
Thanks.
