ALDL logging with TunerPro and HD shock protection
Hi Mangus.
I'm loosing ALDL packets due to what I think is the hard drive shock protection in my laptop.
Is there a future plan to make the ALDL logging to disk asynchronous (ie. buffered)? The HD protection on my IBM T60 is uber sensitive...

It is synchronous, but buffered. Async vs, Sync would have no real meaning here. The only thing that would help you here would be to log to memory and save in one go, which I have no plans to do, as it wouldn't be friendly to those running very little RAM. And if that memory gets paged, even that wouldn't help since the HDD would still be in use.
Without doing any special tricks, the operating system is going to do its thing regardless.
