MEMCAL
MEMCAL
I found 2 memcals on a my lokal junkyard. I got them from the vette version of the 730 ECM. And I got them for free, so I took them
The numbers I can se on them is:
( on the circuit abow the LIMPHOME chips )
1R1045
and
1R0277
(on the side of the memcal itself )
6-1437287-0 1900-1
and
68767 9112
Is there anyway to figure out where they belong to whar car/engine.
Thanks

Re: MEMCAL
The best way to identify a memcal is the sticker on top of the prom chip. It should have a three or four letter code stamped on it. What are you using for a memcal now. If your knockboard and limp chips are ok you can switch them to one of the new memcals. I dont know how to identify those memcals from the numbers you posted. Maybe someone else can help.

Re: MEMCAL
you can find out exactly what is it for by measuring one of the pins of the memcal. they all have a unique resistance ID. Give me a little bit of time to find the documents I put together. I posted them somewhere, either diy-efi or here.....actually, I think I tried to give the docs to the diy moderator, but it was when diy was down.
like i said...give me a little while...but its a pretty cool feature.

Re: MEMCAL
I'm attempted to attach the document I promised the other day. If this doesn't work, you can PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.
should help out in addition to using the bcc sticker.
