What is the deal with a SAUJP v4 bin? Can it be dowloaded "as is" and burned,then run in the car as it is?

pretty much yep.
but you won't get the full benefit.

i don't remember for certain, i believe but it has the spark tables for aluminum heads. IIRC, V4 is based off V3.
so check it first and also be sure to read all the readme and pdf files.

The spark tables can be a bit aggressive so adjust them (as your currently doing) to avaoid ping/knocks.
Set the parameters like injector size, base timing, etc that are specific to your car. If its an auto trans it should run but WILL need the VE tables and spark adjusted.
Be sure to update the definition files in the "Released" thread before you make any changes to your bin.

I never had the need for this but recently looked into it.

got it, i copied and pasted my regular AUJP spark tables over, VE tables are the same anyway,but i may have to burn,log and re-adjust the VE later on i guess.
