Bigger injectors??

Just a quick question? Im running 61lbs injectors at 21psi and have hit 98/99 Ve in my tables at about 1600 to 2200 rpm. Bpw should be about 113 or so for this pressure but i have had to raise the bpw to 120 to keep my Ve's under 100%. Is this normal. My higher rpm ve's are pretty good with some room to move about 25% depending on rpm and load. Just wondering if anyone thinks that i should upgrade to bigblock injectors?? Or will this be fine?? Thanks for the helpSorry that is at about 70to90 map incase this helps!!

Re: Bigger injectors??

How much head room is there regarding duty cycle? If no problem there then increase the BPC a couple of points. Otherwise increase the fuel pressure a couple of psi and keep the same BPC.

Was wondering, which intake manifold are you using?

Re: Bigger injectors??

Trying to understand and learn something.. 61lbs injectors at 21psi.. I know this can be done but wouldn't it actually be more effective to get smaller injectors to keep your FP to actually around 43 LBS. Not that it would make a difference. I can understand someone doing this if they were planning for a major engine build in the future. ?

Re: Bigger injectors??

Im not sure on how much dc I have as Im using Winaldl to datalog and not sure where to look for a dc reading?? Does Winaldl give a dc readout?? As for upping the fuel pressure that is the max that i can get right now with my current regulator set up. I may need to get the Gm 30psi regulator soon. But can someone tell me how to find out what my dutycycle is at while driving and using winaldl?/ THanks again guys. P.S this is a tbi injection not mpfi!!
