EBL: AE question
EBL: AE question
Just wondering what needs to be changed here. It looks to me that i need more map AE to bring the AFR down a little, but my main wonder is when it dips into the 10s for AFR. Why does it go so rich right there?? it will do that at what ever RPM i punch the throttle to, while driving also.
here is a little section of my dump log.

Yes the fuel pressure is very unstable which is why i had asked you about what pump you are currently running. it always jumps around like that, very annoying. I am hopping to change it on thursday to rid of that problem. The pump just can not keep up at high pressure.
So I need to create a smaller lag in the map ae and then lean it out a little bit?? You can really feel it lean out, tires start breaking loose when it does.
Also just today I noticed it idles lean when cold, warm it is around 14.5 but cold it is very unstable and around 16.5. I am going to log it though tomorrow morning I think It might be idling at a different vac when cold.
Last question what would create a lean decelerate while the auto is shifting? I do not think the DE is enabling during. I will check though. This is only at part throttle.

Until the pump is replaced and the fuel pressure is stable, I wouldn't bother trying to tune it (seriously). Then, once you have stable fuel pressure you are going to find the AE to be extremely rich. The AE PW as shown in the log is a bit on the large side. Currently, the more AE PW you add the lower the fuel pressure goes, which in turn reduces the AE. And the opposite, as AE PW is pulled out, the fuel pressure will increase adding fuel back in.
