6E Maf Switch
Aren't '89 MAFs analog?
The Arap-6E.bin has a "Analog MAF meter in use (HLM.)" switch, but isn't set, shouldn't it be set on?
I'm using the expanded6E.xdf in Tunerpro.

Re: 6E Maf Switch
I was hoping someone could answer this question, or part of it - what is the acronym "HLM?"
I looked up acronyms the best one is Hierarchical linear model.
I assume there's 2 types of analog meters, if so which gen would have a HLM MAF?

Re: 6E Maf Switch
I haven't looked for one.
FYI - HLM is an acronym it the same as HFM (hot film mass sensor comes from the Bosch German word(s) for Hot-Air-knife.
I posted about accidently setting the option and the MAF reports twice flow. Not what I expected.

Re: 6E Maf Switch
I just looked at several 6e bins and non were checked, not even the one that I run in my 89 Camaro.
Maybe I'll do a test with it checked and see what happens

Re: 6E Maf Switch
Thanks for chipping in. i don't know what my '88 stock bin setting was.
What could be simpler than "analog maf in use"? I look at several 6e bins as well none were set. maybe it means the opposite?
Someone should know we just haven't found them yet.
