Re: Rich/lean offset vs coolant temp info
In particular it shifts the o2 thresholds at different temps so you can run leaner when cold/hot.
In $8D
Will Subtract from values L84B4 (Window)
Will Subtract from values L84A2 (Upper Boundary)
Will Subtract from values L84AB (Lower Boundary)
The standard is that it only subtracts. I outlined a way to make it go both ways.
From the Tuning guidebook:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...ng-points.html
There's a spreadsheet that shows the relationships that are used in $8D that I made when first figuring it out. I used RBobs document to guide me through it all.
The operation is the same as the writeup by RBob on the 747 that is included in the thread.
Read it several times and then write it down in your own way and it will come to you. Took me several times to see how it all works. Then I made the spreadsheet to allow me to move values around and see graphically what was happening.

Why would gm even bother making this table? It makes such a small change to the target mvolt that it hardly makes a difference.

Edit- the file got screwed up somehow. I reloaded it and see how the table really works.
