Injector size

why does the 6E mask specify (static ?) fuel pressure for the injector size, and why 40psi and not 43.5?
Does the ECM base calculations on the static fuel pressure being 40psi?

Re: Injector size

There is nothing is the $6E mask relative to the injector fuel pressure. The code only cares about what the actual injector flow rate is.

As an example, if running 50 psi of fuel pressure (FP) and at that FP the injectors flow 30#/hr. Then the injector flow rate (constant) in the calibration is to be set at 30#/hr.

Re: Injector size

This is what an ARAP.bin/6E.xdf in TunerProRT shows under Constants/Scalars for fuel injector size.

Re: Injector size

Best bet is to edit the xdf file and remove the "@ 40 psig" from those two entries.
