hey guy. just got the chip kit from moates and after burning a chip i dont have injector pulse. it is a 1988 305 tpi. im using the AXXF.bin im using tunerpro RT and burning the 27c512 chip using tunerpro for the starting and ending addresses. i accidently put the chip in backwards in the addapter the first time. will that mess the chip up? am i using correct bin? i made sure the addapter is in correctly. the truck was origianly equiped with the maf harness and computer then someone switched it out for the sd harness and ecm. i think it is running a 5.7 calibration cause it runs rich all the time. ran great before the conversion. using the 16xxx262 ecu which is just the newer 730 ecu. any help would be great. thanks in addvance for your help

 

Did you turn off VATs in the calibration?

would this be the one i need to uncheck? there are 7 different VATS under "switch 16" with bits ending in 0-7. or do i need to uncheck all of them. thanks for your help. i tried looking around but couldn't find a clear cut expanation on which ones to turn off. thanks again for all the help.

 

It is bit 4 of the option word. Don't change any of the other bits. This is unless there is another option that you want to change.
