Ive been trying too get more fuel delivered to my 355 crossfire and been adjusting my rich/lean/mean, 02 settings. --I searched here for past post and see some bins, in ecm [ebl] ? -- have the mv, go higher at high air flows.-- With the stock [7747] bins, ive tuned my veh with - they have it the opposite way.--mv go up at low air flows ? --is this correct ? -- or should i change them too go higher at high air flows since my eng is modified ?? cam/intake/tho bodys/exaust/ heads/ --- I would post mine but at work now.

 

No ideas guys ?????

 

You can set the tables up either way. You can also set the lower table higher then the upper table, close up the difference between them, or widen it. Just whatever works best for the engine and cat.

Some of the truck calibrations run rather lean. While f-body calibrations are on the fat side. Then there are differences between them for 5-spd vs auto and cali vs fed.

thanks rbob,-- Ive changed my 02 settings [been playing] and car seems better where i have them now. [ I have mean at same spec thru all air flows ] -- And lean and rich is at the same spec, except at very low air flow,s.--------But can never get rid of my off gas surge [rpm up/down 350 rpm], AND at park it flux like this too. -- seems a no load condition. is when its in effect.---AND ive noticed when i do a fresh oil change, ?? it helps the surge ??? still seems fueling issue lean ??, my wide ban took a crap as i cant read.-- any thoughts ??????.

 

Carl I am too at office and do not have my lappy to look at definitions. I did raise the rich lean median threshold for 02 swing by 10%. There is also a setting in TC for stoich I believe and that I have set to 14.0. Intent was to enrichen A/F CL. No emishions. Not sure if that enabled me to obtain a richer CL cruise? My WB shows it moving from 14.7-15.1 rythmically(spell?) up-down cruising 60 mph with load on engine. If I cruise in 4th gear of 5 at 40 mph with no load I too see bucking with surge. Surge may be the pulse width changinging as PW when to load is like 1.1-1.4 up down. I need to hook up VAFPR and will do so next week. Maybe that is drive line slop(manual trans) that contributes as well. when that occurs I do see knock counts rise and that I feel in mechanical driveline chatter. Now the WB is about 30 inches behing collector so aat low load or cruise the sensor may see some reversion fron the end of tail pipe making the 15.1 false read. I may in fact me richer.

 

Yea ive tried everything ?? set blm with DFCO OFF,,, Tried keeping lower map/rpm rich,, raised my pulse width higher than the calculation says too ..,--Set my IAC MOTORS to where they should be ?,[im crossfire] and bin i tuned off was truck with single iac,,so u have to lower alot of settings,--- I WOULD go open loop ?????,, but wide ban did work last fall and when car come out in spring it shows not pressent on laptop ?? sensor ??--- I HAVE no emiss stuff on this veh ,
