Finally getting the time to play with the ebl flash.
Heres what I have
Compaq with OS... vista ultimate
Keyspan DB9- USB
DB9 to the phone wire that connects to the ecm.
System times out everything I try to flash the .bin file
I have already tried replacing the 4 wire phone line.

The only thing I can't do is flash... it will read and datalog fine if I start the car.
Any ideas? could it be the Vista program?

Ok.. finally got this to flash.. don't really know what I did but it works.

I may have to start another thread. Since the new ecm and .bin in I know have a ses light. Code 23 IAT LO...
what do I do?

 

With no IAT un-set these two flags:

Malf Flags - 12 thru 24 - Bit 1 - IAT23
Malf Flags - 25 thru 42 - Bit 7 - IAT25

Then set this table to 100% top to bottom:

IAT/CTS - Blend Filter

RBob.

 

No more flags.. yippee
I'm on the 5th VE Learn but haven't gone past 40mph yet. Each time I do the VE Learn the car gets smoother and I go a bit faster. Now if I can just figure out what to look for.
Question: In my KNK window I think I'm showing one area of knk. This would be in the 800 RPM range with the number 3 or 4. What exactly is that telling me?
