I have a 94 3.1l Cavalier with a 16196404 ecm. I put a Melling MTC-5 camshaft into it (204/214 @ .050) when I stuck in a new GM Goodwrench engine so I want to be able to tune it. Problem is, there is very little info about this ecm online. I was able to modify an .ads file for a 1227730 ecm to work with mine using info from the "ALDL Stuff.zip" on Moates' website but I have no idea what code or mask my ecm uses. Is it just the same as for the 1227730? I may end up swapping in a 7730 when I turbocharge my car so I can run $8F code but for now I would prefer to keep the stock ecm. So can anyone point me towards the right xdf or ecu file?
