splicing/soldering a heated 02

Will splicing/soldering a heated 3-wire lambda disrupt the signal or create resistance at the joint? or will it be ok to splice. I heard so many diffrent answers when it coms to splicing 02 wiring.

There are enough 'cheap' joints in the circuit (ie, weatherpak connectors) that soldering it in place will probably just make it too stable and the ecm will get confused (j/k).

Just be aware of where you tap power for the heater. On my 3 wire, I tested about 1.2 amps draw.

You should not have a problem. I used weatherproof crimp connectors on mine. They are basic crip connectors inside a heat-shrink tube with heat activated adheasive. It works fine.
