Hi!

I want to patch my ANTS bin so I can log the final SA and SA retard.
Somewhere on the net, I read that one could apply a patch without dissamble the bin. Is this really possible?

If not: Has someone already dissabled this bin file? I'm having problems, to get this to work...

Go over to the TBI board, up top in the sticky's, Come In For A Free Tune thread. In there I posted the locations to change to put the SA into the ALDL stream. Same for putting the injector PW into the ALDL stream. That along with the math to convert the ALDL stream values to real world values.

Note that in the Patch Method Demo thread (see Tuning Guide Book sticky ion this board), there are patches to change the speed limiter to a rev limiter and a code 43 forced knock test bypass.

It works now. But what is $61 and $62 exactly? Total Timing or a value from the "Main SA" Map?
What address is used for SA Retard?

$61/$62 is the timing as programmed into the distributor. Which means that the iniitial has been subtracted out. And needs to be added back in.

SA retard is in $6D

Use the same conversion as for $61/$62, but then divide it by 2 (half the amount). Or just use 45 / 256 (.176) as the multiplier.
