MAF 6E G1 +/- Memcal for Emulation???

I haven't had a chance to get to the garage and test this out for the last couple of days so I have to ask.

Does the G1 need to have a memcal plugged into it for proper Emulation with the Autoprom???

I'm just starting out with my Autoprom and probably got ahead of myself when I was assembling the G1 into the ECM etc. So I pulled out my "Superchip" Memcal and just inserted the G1 without re-attaching it....

I was able to start and drive the car..... Emulate and Datalog but the car wouldn't pull over 3000 Rpm (I thought it was lower) then it felt like I hit a fuel cut/rev limiter...... the lack of the memcal is the only thing that I can think of.

What do you guys think????

You need a MEMCAL plugged inot the side of the G1. This is for the ECM to run properly. And it needs to be the correct MEMCAL for the engine.
