ok, im working on my $3F bin from my87 2.8 TBI project. i deleted the EGR from the engine a while ago, and am now working on the capability to tune it for the lack of smog, long tube headers, bigger TBI, etc.

this is my first attempt at tuning, so these may be noob questions, please excuse me.

as far as the EGR programming goes, i uncheced the EGR tab in the flag/switches box. theres a ton of other stuff under the heading of EGR throughout the bin, though. how much of this tuf do i ned to ess with? i initially wanted to get into prom burning just to be able to turn of the CEL for lack of smog, but now i want to get this thing running the best it can.

the how-to's and stickis suggestd starting with the EGR, so it seemed like a good idea.

thanks for any help you can throw my way, guys.

Re: egr deletion
Usually just setting the EGR enable temperature(s) high is all that is required. Engine never reaches that temperature and the EGR is never activated. Then none of the other calibration items get used.
