Just another WB controller...

Little video of the "home-made" WB controller...

Anybody else assembled a JAW? I bought a couple of these and they seem to be excellent for the money.

Re: Just another WB controller...

I think it is the best WBO2 controller out there. I picked up a few of them and did the DIY assemble. I had two LSU4.2 sensors I bought back in 2006 for $50 a piece.
I have had the LSU4.2 along with the JAW controller in the turbo truck with water/alky injection for about 10k miles now. I use a modified $8D code version that runs off the JAW WBO2 as the main O2 sensor for closed loop. It is reliable. The only thing I did was add some filtering in the $8D code for reading the WBO2 input. The way the JAW does it with a PWM output has some ripple so I filtered it a little (2 pole filter) to get it a little more stable, but also keep good transient response. I feel the transient response is extremely important in boost applications.

Overall, the JAW is the best bang for the buck. I hear others complaining about Innovate controllers frying and needing resets. That never happens with the JAW controller.

How much are they? Do they require fresh air calibration when using the LSU4.2? I'm more than happy with my AEM but thats pretty awesome.

I paid $70 for the version 1.03, but Alan had just run out of them and send me the 1.041

Great at answering questions via e-mail and has a forum on his site even.
