fuel pump keeps running sometimes after shut down
pretty sure this isn't in the bin, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask here since you guys know the ins and outs of these ecm's better than most. ever since I've had this car, the fuel pump runs after shutdown. some times only a few secs, other times a good 20 to 30 secs. which doesn't sound to long, but its just weird to be walking away from your car and the pumps is still running.
anyone ever had their car do this? the fuel system is dead stock other than a replacement pump and I've had different ecm's in this car and it still does it. its a 90 map car with a 730, happens to be on 59 right now, but its done it since the stock 305 was in it.
any thoughts?

Re: fuel pump keeps running sometimes after shut down
My guess is your oil pressure switch is running the pump.
The circuit is there in case your FP relay dies so your car can still run by powering the pump directly through the switch.
Your oil presure could be held up high enough after shutdown and holding it running or the switch has lost its ability to indicate a high enough pressure of when to switch. Could be a problem in a wreck. Might want to confirm its the switch and then possibly replace it.
