Lookin for some help/advice on data logged files...

I'm new to the site but have been reading this site for months cause it has the best people for knowledge on EFI. I restore Chevy/GMC trucks 73-87 and i'm now converting a few to TBI. I have my first conversion done and running with a 7747 ecm. The prom in this ecm has a "automatic" trans program and my truck is a 4spd. I had a guy that burns chip change the program in this chip to make it run better which it does, but not great! I have since bought a UV prom eraser, 15 EPROMs, Pocket Programmer III USB and TunerPro RT and i had WinALDL.
I need some help getting started reading the log files that WinALDL created. I have coverted them to .xls files and that made them easier to read but I dont know what i'm lookin at or how to use them to "tune" the chip. I found a bin file that is closer to my truck at Moates and downloaded it and I want to modify that file and burn it to a new chip.
Thanks in advance.....

I would read over the stickies above and look at "come in for tune" in tbi stickies. First thing to address in tune is the BPC setting. winALDL will show you the closed loop corrections being done. Corrections being done in the VE table. Other areas need to be looked into such as choke, open loop cool coolant tables, AE or pumpshot tables, and a host of others.

If you experience drivability issues please post specifics.

A wideband 02 sensor/controller will be helpfull in tuning.

When you add the EFI fuel pump a GM-Delco TRI pump is a good idea. As is an adjustable fuel press reg.
