I've put a 383 together for my truck. I started with a 1pc block and added an eagle rotating assembly, XE270 roller cam, edelbrock rpm (old style) with 70cc chambers, and an rpm intake. I've been using a carb on the engine in an 88 K1500 for about a month. The truck runs great and I really don't have any issues.

Last week a friend of mine gave me an engine out of a 87 camaro. It's a 5.7 with TPI and uses the mass air flow meter. I've got everything including the ecm, wiring harness, and air filter tube. I was thinking of installing the fuel injection system (modified some) on my truck and was wondering if some of you guys could give me some advice on which way to go?

You'd think the tpi would be great on a truck. I am kinda conserned with the cam though. Maybe it won't be too hard to tune around.
