EBL-N02

It appears to work off EGR wiring. I am non emissions w/o EGR.

It appears I need to check constant/flag for EGR. There is another EGR for/high low which I assume I need to change as well. Is that correct?

Looks like I use both wires for former EGR. The gray wire (at former EGR) for 12V Ign Switch and the pink/black Dist Ref Pulse Low to “trigger” the solenoid. Is that correct?

I will put in a future thread (come springtime) the schematic for NOS systems diagram listing a micro switch which I will not need.

As far as setting up the triggers I chose MPH on at 20, RPM on 3200-off at 5600(shift at 5800). Sound about right?

Re: EBL-N02

Ronny, un-check the EGR option flag. That enables the N2O logic in the ECM. Not sure what the EGR hi/lo you mention is.

There is a basic wiring diagram on the web site. Under connection drawings. Need to provide +12v ignition to the relay, which the ECM output will enable. Also note that an arming input to the ECM is required. This is all shown in the wiring diagram.

Don't forget the timing retard parameter.

RBob.

Re: EBL-N02

I will pull 4 deg to start with N02 on. I will set PE from current 12.7 down to 12.0. will do a few plug checks and do 2 #'s colder if needed. I located your wiring schematic. Thank you!

Are you aware how much $$$$ the N02 manufacturers charge for a controller? I am sure you do. Just trying to make a point as to the EBL value. I see time delay(mph) around $145 and same $$ on RPM.

I cannot look at EBLxdf as am at office. I recall in options a second flag just under the EGR, for EGR high/low or "something to that effect". I guess I disregard it? Maybe it was in constants?

Nothing to do on this till spring. Lookin forward.

edit: To test system with MPH set to 20 I presume I set MPH to zero and test with ign on engine off and move TPS to 100% with nozzle out of intake tract?

tomorrow it is to Hurley to exercise the sleds. 55mph speed limit at night. I believe that to be a good idea.

Re: EBL-N02

Ronny, how are you making out with the n2o? I've had mine hooked up since I first bought the ebl. (classic), I had soleniod issues so I never got a good track run. But the contol options are great!
