Does anyone use Dataman S4?

One of my friends gave me one of these units, and I have it all set up, and talking to my lap top.
I edit a bin with tuner pro using the 6e.xdf definition, and save the bin, then open it with the dataman software, and send it to the dataman programmer. When I try to burn the chip, it keeps giving me a message when it gets to a certain byte that says "same". I am using the 27c128 chips.

The instruction book doesn't say how exactly to do this. I would also like to use a at29c256 chip, but again, the instructions doesn't say how to burn the bin to the lower/upper half of the chip.

If anyone uses this thing, if you don't mind giving me a "step by step" on it, I would really appreciate it.
