Two quick questions

I'm using EBL/Flash. These should be fairly easy questions for you.

In my constants table.
Closed loop AFR Stoich I have changed a AFR goals a few different times. After I make my changes the car doesn't seem to respond to where I want to be. Is there another area within the .bin I can make this change?

Deceleration going into open loop. Curious as to the benefits of this as opposed to staying CL?

Thanks guys

Re: Two quick questions

I also reset stoic to reality.

In tables see:
INT- Mean R/L
INT- Rich O2
INT- Lean O2
O2- Idle O2 Window Terms

Mind the fact that NB sensor accuracy stinks as you move from 14.7 (very heavy slopes),
& that I have no cats or prop gains to mess up making changes to those tables.

OL on decell makes VE learns more straight-forward.

Staying in closed loop on decell will tend to lean the mixture more than OL,
invoking DE & DFCO per settings.

Is there any general rule of thumb to use when adjusting those tables?

I've also removed the WB from the ECM to try and get a true reading.
When the LM-1 on mine is connected to the ECM I'm getting 12.1 at idle. When running seperatly I get low 13's at idle which appear to be a bit more accurate IMO. BLM's are in line. I really don't know why its different when connected but for now I'll leave it the way I have it.

The closed loop stoich value is only used for the initial PW calculation. The BLM provides the fuel trim from that point. If the stoich is changed, that will change the PW. But the O2 feedback will move the BLMs back to the same AFR as if the stoich value was never changed.

The O2 feedback uses the tables that xch3no2 outlined.

The other reason for open loop decel is to prevent surging. With the small injector PW's the proportional gains in closed loop tend to make the engine surge up & down.
