Data Logging noise only under WOT
I'm having an issue with data logging. Using TP V5, but also have seen the problem with ScannerPro as well.
I have always had noise problems when data logging, but it was so random and few that is didn't really effect much. Maybe once every 10 seconds or so, so I just ignored it. It was always a short enough duration that you would never see the gauges jump. However, this has changed dramatically Now I'm seeing glitches a little more often, however if I am WOT and above 3K rpm, it just goes bananas. The data is full of spikes, and my pc dash just drops the gauges to zero or wide open. While RPM related, I also have to be WOT. If I hold it in a lower gear and just run the RPMs up part throttle, it acts normal. I have to be WOT in order for it to go crazy. I'd almost want to say it looks like a poor connection, but the fact it only happens at full throttle, doesn't seem to support that idea. This is in a 13K lbs vehicle, so there is not a measurable acceleration difference between 3/4 throttle and WOT, so its does not seem like inertia is causing a wire to short. It really acts related to the throttle position. It does happen at lower RPMs, but not a severe.
Any thoughts?

No even wild ideas, remote possibilities? What stumps me is that it only happens under WOT. That just makes no sens to me.

Most guys gotta be wondering,
"sounds like what?"
Signal noise can sometimes be filtered out, just slow the sample rate.
High voltage leaks are a common outside source.
Secondary is at it's highest resistance WOT & any kind of lean.
My laptop makes a strange squeal when I get into VE overflow (over 100%VE) learning the EBL WOT.

Guess I didn't think about acoustical noise, yes I mean electrical.

Scope the 12v and see if there's AC ripple on it, possibly increasing with RPM.
There may not be inertia difference between 3/4 & WOT but there's additional torque stress on physical components.
